Key Responsibilities

• Review and manage data access protocols to ensure adherence to legal, contractual, and regulatory standards in JP Morgan Chase's financial operations
• Conduct quality assessments on data access requests, identifying and mitigating risks related to unauthorized access or data breaches
• Collaborate with IT, compliance, and business teams to implement and maintain data governance policies specific to banking and investment services
• Perform regular audits and data validation using SQL and analytical tools to verify compliance with industry regulations like GDPR and SOX
• Develop and document procedures for data access management, ensuring scalability for JP Morgan's global data ecosystem
• Monitor and report on data quality metrics, escalating issues that could impact financial reporting or client data security
• Support the integration of new data sources while maintaining strict access controls in line with JP Morgan's risk management framework
• Train team members on best practices for data access and quality assurance in a financial services context
• Analyze trends in data access patterns to recommend improvements in protocols and reduce compliance vulnerabilities

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field
• 2-4 years of experience in data management, quality assurance, or compliance roles within the financial services industry
• Strong understanding of data privacy regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, and financial standards like SOX and Basel III
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and SQL for querying and validating data access
• Experience with access management systems and protocols in a regulated environment
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting with cross-functional stakeholders
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced certification in data governance or information security (e.g., CISA, CRISC)
• Experience in the banking sector, particularly with large-scale financial institutions like JP Morgan Chase
