Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of quantitative analysts to design and implement data-driven models that optimize business processes and enhance customer experiences in JP Morgan Chase's retail banking and investment services
  • Develop advanced statistical and machine learning models to analyze large datasets from transaction, market, and customer behavior sources
  • Collaborate with business units to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and deliver actionable insights that drive revenue growth and risk mitigation
  • Conduct A/B testing and experimental designs to evaluate the impact of new financial products or digital initiatives on customer engagement
  • Ensure compliance with internal data governance policies and external regulations while handling sensitive financial data
  • Mentor junior analysts and foster a culture of innovation in quantitative analytics within the Bengaluru team
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership, translating technical results into strategic business decisions

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Quantitative Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degree (Master's or PhD) preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in quantitative analytics, data science, or financial modeling within the financial services industry
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL for data analysis and modeling
  • Strong understanding of statistical methods, machine learning algorithms, and data visualization techniques
  • Experience with big data technologies and tools like Hadoop, Spark, or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
  • Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • CFA, FRM, or similar certification in finance or risk management
