Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain third-party and internal data platforms to ensure high-quality reference data for JP Morgan Chase's global operations
• Oversee data ingestion, validation, and reconciliation processes to minimize errors and support accurate financial reporting
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including traders, risk managers, and compliance officers, to define data requirements
• Implement data governance policies and procedures aligned with JP Morgan's enterprise standards
• Monitor and resolve data quality issues, performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions
• Integrate new data sources and vendors, ensuring seamless compatibility with existing systems
• Conduct regular audits and testing of reference data to comply with regulatory requirements
• Develop and maintain documentation for data management processes and platform configurations
• Support technology initiatives by providing data expertise for platform enhancements and migrations
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of data management tools and workflows to enhance efficiency

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data management, preferably in financial services or banking
• Strong understanding of reference data concepts, including securities, counterparties, and market data
• Proficiency in data governance frameworks and compliance standards such as GDPR and SEC regulations
• Experience with third-party data vendors like Bloomberg, Refinitiv, or internal data platforms
• Demonstrated ability to manage large datasets and ensure data accuracy and integrity
• Excellent analytical skills with a track record of resolving complex data discrepancies

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree (Master's or MBA) in a quantitative or finance-related discipline
• Certification in data management (e.g., CDMP) or financial data standards (e.g., FIX Protocol)
• Prior experience at a major financial institution like JP Morgan Chase
• Knowledge of agile methodologies and tools for data platform development
• Familiarity with risk management and regulatory reporting in the banking sector
