Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the execution of regulatory projects, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with JP Morgan Chase's internal standards and external regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including legal, compliance, risk, and technology to implement regulatory changes across the Bournemouth operations
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and risk assessments for initiatives related to UK and EU financial regulations
  • Monitor regulatory updates from bodies like the FCA, PRA, and ESMA, and assess their impact on JP Morgan Chase's business lines
  • Facilitate stakeholder engagement, including reporting to senior management on project status and outcomes
  • Conduct gap analyses and remediation plans to address regulatory deficiencies in financial reporting and controls
  • Support audit and regulatory examinations by preparing documentation and coordinating responses
  • Drive process improvements to enhance regulatory project efficiency within the Program & Project Management framework

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Law, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in regulatory compliance, project management, or risk management within the financial services industry
  • Proven track record in executing regulatory projects, including implementation of Basel III, Dodd-Frank, or MiFID II requirements
  • Strong understanding of UK and EU financial regulations, such as those enforced by the FCA and PRA
  • Experience with regulatory reporting and audit processes in a banking environment
  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) or equivalent
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment with cross-functional teams
