Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and submit accurate regulatory reports to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring compliance with global and local regulations
  • Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies and ensure data integrity in reporting processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including risk management, finance, and compliance to gather required information
  • Monitor regulatory changes and updates from bodies like the Federal Reserve, SEC, or RBI, and implement necessary adjustments to reporting procedures
  • Utilize data processing tools to automate and streamline reporting workflows, improving efficiency
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews on reports to mitigate risks of non-compliance
  • Support ad-hoc reporting requests and participate in audits related to regulatory submissions
  • Maintain documentation of reporting processes and contribute to process improvement initiatives
  • Assist in training junior team members on regulatory reporting best practices

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in regulatory reporting, financial analysis, or compliance within the banking or financial services sector
  • Strong understanding of global regulatory frameworks such as Basel III, Dodd-Frank, or IFRS standards
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and financial reporting systems
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle complex datasets accurately
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Fluency in English with strong written and verbal communication skills
