Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and automate EMEA regulatory reporting processes to ensure compliance with evolving regulations in payments operations
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across Operations, Compliance, and Technology teams to identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements
  • Develop and maintain reporting workflows, including data validation, reconciliation, and submission to regulatory bodies
  • Drive automation initiatives using tools like RPA (Robotic Process Automation) to enhance accuracy and reduce manual efforts
  • Monitor regulatory changes in EMEA jurisdictions and assess impact on JP Morgan Chase's payments operations
  • Conduct root cause analysis on reporting errors and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks
  • Prepare and present business analysis reports on process efficiency metrics to senior management
  • Support audit and regulatory examinations by providing documentation and insights into reporting controls
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by training team members on new tools and best practices

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in regulatory reporting, business analysis, or operations within the financial services industry
  • Proven experience in EMEA regulatory frameworks, including EMIR, SFTR, and MiFID II reporting requirements
  • Strong understanding of payments operations and transaction processing in a banking environment
  • Experience with automation tools and process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in Spanish or another European language is advantageous
