Key Responsibilities

  • Engage clients in the Ghent branch to understand their financial needs and recommend tailored JP Morgan Chase products such as checking accounts, credit cards, mortgages, and investment options
  • Deliver exceptional hospitality by greeting clients warmly, resolving inquiries promptly, and ensuring a seamless banking experience
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with individual and small business clients to drive retention and referrals
  • Process transactions accurately, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan applications, while adhering to security protocols
  • Promote digital banking tools to enhance client convenience and educate on fraud prevention
  • Collaborate with branch team members and specialists to provide comprehensive financial advice
  • Meet or exceed sales goals by identifying cross-selling opportunities within JP Morgan Chase's suite of services
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including KYC, AML, and fair lending practices
  • Participate in community outreach events in Norfolk, VA, to strengthen JP Morgan Chase's local presence

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in finance, business, or related field preferred
  • At least 2 years of experience in retail banking, customer service, or sales within the financial services industry
  • Strong knowledge of banking products and services, including deposits, loans, and digital banking solutions
  • Ability to obtain and maintain necessary licenses, such as Series 6 and 63, or willingness to pursue them
