Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients by understanding their financial needs and recommending appropriate JP Morgan Chase products and services

  • Process transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan applications, and account openings while ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal regulations

  • Conduct financial consultations to help clients achieve goals like debt management, savings growth, or retirement planning
  • Collaborate with branch team members and specialists to provide seamless service and referrals to JP Morgan's broader ecosystem
  • Maintain accurate client records in Chase's systems and adhere to all security and privacy protocols
  • Participate in community outreach events in Houston to promote Chase's commitment to local financial inclusion
  • Monitor client portfolios for potential risks and proactively communicate updates or changes
  • Achieve individual and branch sales targets while upholding ethical standards

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in finance, business, or related field preferred
  • At least 2 years of experience in retail banking, customer service, or financial services
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to client locations as needed
  • Strong understanding of banking products including checking, savings, loans, and credit cards
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, in a branch environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic financial software
  • Clean background check and compliance with all regulatory requirements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in sales or relationship management within a financial institution
  • Bilingual proficiency, particularly in Spanish, to serve diverse Houston clientele
  • Certification in financial services such as Certified Banking & Trust Officer (CBTO)
