Key Responsibilities

  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with key decision-makers at VC funds, tech startups, and corporate venture arms to drive business growth
  • Identify opportunities to cross-sell JP Morgan Chase's suite of financial services, including investment banking, commercial banking, and asset management solutions
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as investment banking, capital markets, and advisory groups to deliver tailored solutions for clients
  • Monitor market trends in venture capital and technology sectors to provide strategic insights and advisory support to clients
  • Lead client presentations, pitch meetings, and deal negotiations to secure mandates and expand wallet share
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to the development of coverage strategies for the broader technology sector
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and JP Morgan Chase's risk management standards in all client interactions

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in venture capital, technology investment banking, or relationship management within the financial services industry
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with venture capital firms, technology startups, and innovation economy investors
  • Deep understanding of the innovation economy, including venture capital trends, technology sectors, and emerging fintech landscapes
  • Strong knowledge of JP Morgan Chase's products and services, including capital markets, lending, and advisory solutions for institutional clients
  • Ability to travel up to 50% for client meetings and industry events
  • Series 7 and 63 licenses or equivalent required
