Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Risk, Business, and Technology to align analytics with business objectives
  • Perform ad-hoc risk assessments and scenario analyses to support regulatory reporting and internal decision-making
  • Monitor key risk indicators and prepare executive-level reports on home lending risk exposures
  • Enhance analytical methodologies using advanced statistical techniques and big data tools
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations such as Dodd-Frank and CFPB guidelines

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field
  • 3+ years of experience in risk analytics, modeling, or data analysis within the financial services industry, preferably in mortgage or home lending
  • Proficiency in statistical modeling and data analysis tools such as SAS, R, or Python
  • Strong understanding of credit risk, mortgage lending processes, and regulatory requirements in the U.S. banking sector
  • Experience with large datasets and database querying (e.g., SQL)
  • Ability to communicate complex analytical findings to non-technical stakeholders
  • CFA, FRM, or similar certification is a plus but not required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in a quantitative discipline
