Location: New York, NY, United States

Job Family: Firmwide Risk and Compliance

About the Role

At JP Morgan Chase, we are at the forefront of integrating sustainable practices into our global financial operations, and this Executive Director role in Risk Management is pivotal to that mission. As the Model and Data Product Manager, you will oversee the development and execution of cutting-edge data and analytics infrastructure designed to bolster our climate, nature, and social risk framework. Reporting to the Head of Firmwide Risk, you will drive initiatives that embed ESG considerations into our risk models, ensuring that our lending, investment, and advisory services align with global sustainability goals. This position demands a strategic leader who can navigate the intersection of finance, technology, and environmental science to mitigate risks and seize opportunities in the transition to a low-carbon economy. Your core responsibilities will include leading multidisciplinary teams to build robust data products that leverage advanced analytics for assessing climate transition risks, biodiversity impacts, and social vulnerabilities. You will collaborate closely with business units such as Corporate & Investment Bank and Consumer & Community Banking to integrate these insights into decision-making processes, while ensuring compliance with evolving regulations like the New York State Department of Financial Services' climate risk requirements. Innovation is key; you will explore emerging technologies, including AI-driven scenario modeling and alternative data sources, to enhance the precision of our risk frameworks and support JP Morgan's commitment to net-zero emissions by 2050. This role offers the chance to shape the future of risk management at one of the world's largest financial institutions, where your expertise will directly influence sustainable finance strategies. Based in our state-of-the-art New York office, you will thrive in a dynamic environment that values diversity, inclusion, and forward-thinking leadership. Join us to make a tangible impact on global challenges while advancing your career in a supportive, high-impact setting.
