Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain reporting frameworks for firmwide risk metrics, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in deliverables to senior management
  • Collaborate with middle office teams to monitor and control risk exposure across business lines at JP Morgan Chase
  • Perform data validation, reconciliation, and analysis to support regulatory filings and internal risk assessments
  • Identify and mitigate control gaps in reporting processes, implementing enhancements to improve efficiency and compliance
  • Support the preparation of risk management dashboards and presentations for stakeholders, including the Corporate Risk Management group
  • Conduct periodic reviews of reporting controls and procedures to align with evolving regulatory standards
  • Assist in ad-hoc risk reporting projects, such as stress testing or scenario analysis under Basel requirements
  • Liaise with technology teams to automate reporting workflows and integrate data from multiple sources
  • Ensure adherence to JP Morgan Chase's risk policies and contribute to audit readiness
  • Mentor junior associates and participate in knowledge-sharing initiatives within the RRMO team

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in risk management, financial reporting, or middle office operations within the financial services industry
  • Strong understanding of regulatory reporting requirements such as Basel III, Dodd-Frank, and CCAR
  • Proficiency in data analysis and financial modeling using tools like Excel, SQL, or Python
  • Knowledge of risk management frameworks and control processes in a banking environment
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and adhere to compliance standards
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical mindset
