  • Develop and maintain risk policies, procedures, and controls to mitigate credit, operational, and compliance risks
  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and stress testing for credit card products, including co-branded partnerships
  • Collaborate with business units, legal, and compliance teams to monitor regulatory changes and implement necessary adjustments
  • Oversee the identification, measurement, and reporting of key risk indicators (KRIs) and key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Provide strategic advice to senior leadership on risk appetite, exposure limits, and portfolio optimization

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA or Master's) preferred
  • 8+ years of experience in credit risk management, particularly in consumer credit cards or co-branded card programs
  • Proven track record in risk oversight, policy development, and regulatory compliance within the financial services industry
  • Strong understanding of Basel regulations, Dodd-Frank Act, and other relevant banking regulations
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams in risk assessment and mitigation strategies
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and risk modeling software used in financial institutions
  • Ability to obtain necessary security clearances and certifications for handling sensitive financial data
