Key Responsibilities

  • Review and oversee the preparation of client deliverables including financial statements, investor reports, and regulatory filings for alternative funds
  • Manage end-to-end administration processes for hedge funds, private equity, and other alternative investment structures
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as custody, middle office, and compliance to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with industry regulations and J.P. Morgan's internal policies
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement enhancements to operational efficiency
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews on fund data and calculations to mitigate risks
  • Support business development initiatives by providing expertise on alternative fund services
  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to team development within Securities Services
  • Analyze market trends and advise clients on best practices in alternative investments

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in fund administration, asset management, or securities services within the financial industry
  • Deep knowledge of alternative investment vehicles including hedge funds, private equity, and real assets
  • Proven track record in client relationship management and delivering high-quality administrative services
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements such as SEC, CFTC, and AIFMD
  • Experience with fund accounting, NAV calculations, and reconciliation processes
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment with strict deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (MBA or Master's in Finance) or relevant certifications like CFA or CPA
  • Prior experience at a major financial institution such as J.P. Morgan Chase or similar
  • Familiarity with alternative fund platforms and technology tools like Advent or Geneva
  • Demonstrated leadership in managing teams or projects in fund services
  • International exposure to cross-border fund administration
