Key Responsibilities

  • Support client operations by managing daily middle office activities for securities services, ensuring accurate portfolio reconciliation and reporting
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver customized solutions that protect client portfolios and enhance operational efficiency
  • Monitor and resolve trade settlements, cash management, and collateral operations to minimize risks and discrepancies
  • Act as a key point of contact for clients in Tokyo, addressing inquiries and providing timely updates on investment services
  • Ensure compliance with JP Morgan Chase's global standards and local Japanese regulations in all operational processes
  • Analyze client data to identify opportunities for process improvements and increased service value
  • Prepare and review documentation for fund administration, including NAV calculations and performance reporting
  • Participate in system testing and implementation of new technologies to support client operations
  • Contribute to team projects aimed at expanding securities services offerings in the Asian region

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in financial services, particularly in middle office operations or client servicing
  • Strong understanding of securities services, including custody, fund accounting, and investment operations
  • Proficiency in Japanese and English languages, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements in the Japanese financial market, such as those from the Financial Services Agency (FSA)
  • Experience with client relationship management in a high-volume operational environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting with attention to detail
