Key Responsibilities

• Lead strategic initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and performance in the Asia Pacific Securities Services Operations team
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to identify and implement business process improvements
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop reporting mechanisms to track operational metrics
• Drive risk management and compliance efforts in alignment with JP Morgan Chase's global standards
• Support the integration of new technologies and automation tools to streamline securities processing
• Manage cross-functional projects involving custody, clearing, and settlement operations
• Provide business analysis and insights to inform decision-making at the executive level
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team
• Liaise with regional and global teams to ensure seamless coordination in APAC operations
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation for the operations unit

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations, business management, or financial services within the securities industry
• Proven track record in driving strategic initiatives in a high-volume operations environment
• Strong understanding of securities services, including custody, fund accounting, and collateral management
• Experience in the Asia Pacific region, with knowledge of local regulatory requirements in Australia
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven approach
• Proficiency in project management methodologies such as Agile or Six Sigma

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) in Finance or related discipline
• Prior experience at a global financial institution like JP Morgan Chase
• Familiarity with APAC securities markets and cross-border operations
• Certification in financial operations (e.g., CFA or FRM)
