As a Vice President, Assistant General Counsel in this dynamic team, you will provide expert legal counsel on a wide array of securitized products, including residential and commercial mortgage-backed securities (RMBS and CMBS), collateralized loan obligations (CLOs), and other asset-backed instruments. Based in our New York headquarters, you will partner closely with investment bankers, traders, and risk management professionals to structure groundbreaking transactions that support commercial real estate financing and broader capital markets activities. Your role will involve navigating complex regulatory landscapes to ensure compliance while fostering innovation in an industry-leading environment. In this position, you will advise on the full lifecycle of securitization deals, from initial structuring and due diligence to execution and post-closing matters. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders and external parties, including issuers, underwriters, and rating agencies, to mitigate legal risks and optimize deal terms.
