Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review external financial reports for the Securitized Products Group, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and SEC guidelines

  • Collaborate with internal teams to support quarterly and annual reporting cycles, including Form 10-Q and 10-K filings
  • Monitor and implement changes in accounting standards and regulatory requirements impacting securitized products
  • Perform variance analysis on financial statements and provide insights to senior management
  • Assist in the preparation of management reports and presentations for external stakeholders
  • Ensure accurate valuation and disclosure of complex financial instruments within the group
  • Support audit processes by providing documentation and responding to external auditor inquiries
  • Contribute to process improvements in reporting workflows to enhance efficiency and accuracy

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 2-4 years of experience in financial reporting, preferably in securitized products or investment banking
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
  • Proficiency in financial systems such as Oracle or SAP
  • CPA certification or progress towards it
  • Experience with regulatory filings like 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (MBA or Master's in Accounting)
  • Experience in the securitized products group at a major financial institution
  • Familiarity with Basel III regulations and risk-weighted assets
  • Prior work at JP Morgan Chase or a similar bulge-bracket bank
