Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain security controls for cloud infrastructure to protect sensitive financial data at JPMorgan Chase
  • Conduct security assessments and penetration testing on cloud environments, ensuring compliance with industry regulations
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines using DevSecOps methodologies
  • Monitor and respond to security incidents in cloud platforms, including AWS and Azure, to mitigate risks in real-time
  • Develop and enforce cloud security policies aligned with JPMorgan Chase's Cybersecurity & Technology Controls standards
  • Perform risk assessments and audits for cloud-based applications handling financial transactions
  • Stay updated on emerging cloud security threats and recommend proactive measures for the financial services sector
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure secure architecture for new cloud initiatives
  • Document security configurations and provide training to team members on best practices
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of JPMorgan Chase's cloud security posture

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud security engineering or related cybersecurity roles
  • Proven experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, with a focus on security configurations
  • Strong understanding of financial services regulations including GDPR, PCI-DSS, and SOX compliance
  • Experience in implementing and managing security controls in a large-scale enterprise environment
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or AWS Certified Security - Specialty
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, regulated environment with a focus on risk management

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in Cybersecurity or a related discipline
  • Experience in the financial services industry, particularly with banking or investment firms
