Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure Java-based applications integrated with AWS infrastructure to protect sensitive financial data
• Develop and deploy AI/ML models for threat detection and anomaly identification in transaction monitoring systems
• Collaborate with agile teams to deliver scalable security solutions across multiple technical domains
• Conduct security assessments and vulnerability testing on cloud-native applications
• Integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle for compliance with financial regulations
• Monitor and respond to security incidents in real-time, ensuring minimal disruption to banking operations
• Mentor junior engineers on secure coding practices and AWS security tools
• Contribute to the evolution of JPMorgan Chase's cybersecurity framework by innovating with emerging technologies
• Document technical designs and processes to support audit and regulatory requirements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on security
• Proficiency in Java programming and building scalable applications
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services including EC2, S3, and Lambda
• Knowledge of AI/ML frameworks and their integration into secure systems
• Experience in agile methodologies and cross-functional team collaboration
• Strong understanding of financial services security regulations like GDPR and PCI-DSS

• Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
