Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop advanced threat intelligence solutions to protect JP Morgan Chase's global financial infrastructure from emerging cyber threats
• Analyze and disseminate threat intelligence data to support proactive risk mitigation across banking, investment, and asset management divisions
• Collaborate with agile teams to integrate threat intelligence into security operations, ensuring seamless delivery of secure technology solutions
• Conduct threat assessments and vulnerability analyses tailored to financial services regulations and standards
• Develop and maintain tools for monitoring, collecting, and processing threat data from internal and external sources
• Provide expert guidance on threat hunting and incident response strategies to enhance the firm's cybersecurity posture
• Contribute to the creation of intelligence reports and briefings for senior stakeholders in the financial sector
• Stay abreast of evolving cyber threats in the financial industry and recommend adaptive security measures
• Mentor junior security engineers on threat intelligence best practices within JP Morgan Chase's ecosystem
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations by embedding threat intelligence into enterprise risk management processes

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on threat intelligence or related security engineering roles
• Proven experience in designing and implementing threat detection and response systems in a financial services environment
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements such as GDPR, PCI-DSS, and SOX compliance in banking
• Experience working in agile methodologies within large-scale enterprise environments
• Ability to obtain and maintain necessary security clearances or certifications relevant to financial sector security
• Demonstrated track record of collaborating with cross-functional teams to mitigate cyber threats

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced certifications such as CISSP, GIAC GCTI, or Certified Threat Intelligence Analyst (CTIA)
• Experience in the financial services industry, particularly with threat modeling for banking and payment systems
• Familiarity with JP Morgan Chase's internal security tools and frameworks
• Master's degree in Cybersecurity or a related discipline
• Prior experience leading threat intelligence initiatives in a global financial institution

• Expertise in SIEM tools such as Splunk or ELK Stack for threat monitoring
• Strong knowledge of malware analysis, reverse engineering, and digital forensics

• Understanding of network security protocols and intrusion detection systems (IDS/IPS)
• Familiarity with cloud security in AWS, Azure, or GCP environments
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills for complex threat scenarios
