Key Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day operations for the Small & Midsized Payments (SMP) product, ensuring seamless processing and customer satisfaction
  • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of controls to mitigate operational, financial, and compliance risks
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to identify and address potential issues in payments workflows
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technology, compliance, and sales, to enhance product features and controls
  • Conduct regular audits and testing of operational processes to ensure adherence to JPMorgan Chase standards and regulatory requirements
  • Develop and execute training programs for team members on risk management and operational best practices
  • Analyze transaction data to optimize efficiency and reduce costs in SMP operations
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on SMB payments, providing guidance to internal stakeholders and clients
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to support JPMorgan Chase's commitment to innovation in financial services
  • Report on operational performance and risk exposures to senior leadership

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in payments operations, product management, or risk controls within the financial services industry
  • Proven leadership experience in managing operational teams and overseeing risk mitigation processes
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements for small and midsized payments, including compliance with U.S. banking regulations
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting tools to monitor operational performance and controls
  • Demonstrated ability to handle high-volume transaction environments and ensure operational efficiency
  • Knowledge of JPMorgan Chase's internal policies and procedures for payments processing
