Key Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee multiple technical areas focused on Informatica-based infrastructure engineering, ensuring alignment with JP Morgan Chase's global technology strategy
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across technical domains, including data analytics, cybersecurity, and application development, to deliver scalable infrastructure solutions
• Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of Informatica platforms to support high-volume financial data processing and integration
• Manage a team of engineers, providing mentorship, performance evaluations, and career development in a fast-paced financial services environment
• Drive innovation in infrastructure architecture, incorporating cloud-native technologies to enhance efficiency and reduce operational risks
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies, conducting audits and implementing security best practices for data pipelines
• Partner with senior stakeholders to align engineering initiatives with business objectives, such as improving transaction processing speeds and data accuracy
• Monitor and report on key performance metrics for infrastructure reliability, uptime, and cost efficiency
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, adopting emerging technologies like automation and AI to modernize legacy systems
• Coordinate with global teams to support 24/7 operations for JP Morgan Chase's infrastructure in the Americas, EMEA, and APAC regions

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• 10+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role directing technical teams
• Proven track record in managing large-scale infrastructure projects within the financial services sector
• Deep expertise in Informatica (Infa) tools and platforms, including data integration and ETL processes
• Strong understanding of regulatory compliance requirements such as GDPR, SOX, and PCI-DSS in financial environments
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure) and hybrid environments
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams in high-stakes, mission-critical financial systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced certifications in Informatica or cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect)
• Experience in agile methodologies and DevOps practices within banking technology stacks
• Prior leadership in risk management or cybersecurity initiatives for financial data platforms
• MBA or equivalent business acumen in fintech or capital markets
• Familiarity with AI/ML integration in data engineering pipelines for financial analytics

• Expertise in Informatica PowerCenter, Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS), and data integration tools
• Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for infrastructure management
• Strong knowledge of ETL processes, data warehousing, and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure as code (Terraform)
• Deep understanding of financial data security, encryption, and compliance standards
• Leadership and team management skills, including conflict resolution and motivation
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities for cross-domain collaboration
• Analytical problem-solving with a focus on scalability and performance optimization
• Familiarity with agile/Scrum frameworks and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence)
