Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and execution of client events at JP Morgan Chase's Client Center, including seminars, galas, and networking receptions
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as investment bankers, relationship managers, and marketing teams to align events with business objectives
  • Manage event budgets, negotiate with vendors, and ensure cost-effective solutions while maintaining high standards of luxury and professionalism
  • Oversee logistics including venue setup, audiovisual requirements, catering, and transportation for VIP clients
  • Ensure all events comply with JP Morgan Chase's risk management and regulatory policies, including data privacy and anti-money laundering guidelines
  • Develop post-event reports analyzing attendance, feedback, and ROI to inform future strategies
  • Mentor junior planners and coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless experiences
  • Identify innovative event formats to enhance client engagement in the competitive financial services landscape
  • Handle crisis management during events to mitigate any disruptions and uphold the firm's reputation

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in event planning, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead role
  • Proven track record of managing high-profile events in a corporate or financial services environment
  • Strong understanding of event budgeting, vendor management, and risk assessment in a regulated industry
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
  • Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite
