Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect and cultivate relationships with potential homebuyers, real estate agents, and referral partners in the Bowie, MD community to generate mortgage leads
  • Conduct comprehensive financial assessments for clients to recommend suitable home lending products, including conventional, FHA, VA, and jumbo loans
  • Guide clients through the entire mortgage origination process, from application to closing, ensuring a seamless and compliant experience
  • Collaborate with JP Morgan Chase underwriters and processors to expedite loan approvals and resolve any issues efficiently
  • Achieve and exceed individual and branch sales targets for mortgage volume and revenue
  • Educate clients on current market trends, interest rates, and financing options to build trust and facilitate informed decisions
  • Maintain accurate records in Chase's loan origination system and comply with all regulatory requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in mortgage lending or home financing within the financial services industry
  • Active Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) license in Maryland or ability to obtain one promptly
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets in a competitive lending environment
  • In-depth knowledge of federal and state lending regulations, including Truth in Lending Act (TILA) and RESPA
  • Strong understanding of credit analysis, underwriting processes, and loan structuring
  • Ability to work independently in a branch setting while collaborating with broader JP Morgan Chase teams

Preferred Qualifications
