Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect, qualify, and originate residential mortgage loans for clients in the Charleston, WV market, guiding them through the homeownership process

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in mortgage lending, sales, or financial services
  • Active Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) license with NMLS registration
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets in home lending or related financial products
  • Strong understanding of federal and state lending regulations, including TRID and HMDA
  • Excellent credit history and ability to pass background checks required for financial roles
  • Proficiency in mortgage origination software and CRM systems

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced certifications such as Certified Mortgage Banker (CMB) or equivalent
  • Experience working in a high-volume branch environment at a major financial institution
