Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect and develop new client relationships through networking, referrals, and community events in El Cajon and surrounding areas
  • Guide clients through the home lending process, from initial consultation to loan closing, ensuring a seamless and personalized experience
  • Analyze client financial situations to recommend appropriate mortgage products, including conventional, FHA, VA, and jumbo loans
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including underwriters and processors, to ensure timely and compliant loan approvals

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in finance, business, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in mortgage lending, sales, or financial services
  • Active Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) license with NMLS registration
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets in a competitive environment
  • Strong understanding of mortgage products, regulations, and compliance requirements
  • Excellent credit history and ability to pass background checks
  • Availability to work in El Cajon, CA, and surrounding areas

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced certifications such as Certified Mortgage Banker (CMB) or equivalent
