Key Responsibilities

• Prospect and develop new client relationships through community outreach, referrals, and branch networking in Elmwood Park, NJ
• Guide clients through the home lending process, from initial consultation to loan closing, ensuring a seamless experience
• Analyze client financial profiles to recommend suitable mortgage products, including fixed-rate, adjustable-rate, and government-backed loans
• Collaborate with JP Morgan Chase underwriting teams to facilitate efficient loan approvals and minimize delays
• Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets for loan originations while maintaining high-quality standards
• Educate clients on current market trends, interest rates, and financing options to support informed decision-making
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements, including fair lending practices and documentation accuracy
• Build and nurture partnerships with real estate agents, builders, and other stakeholders in the local area

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in mortgage lending or home financing within the financial services industry
• Active Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) license with NMLS registration
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets in residential mortgage origination
• In-depth knowledge of federal and state lending regulations, including FHA, VA, and conventional loan programs
• Strong understanding of credit analysis, underwriting processes, and risk assessment in home lending
• Ability to work in a fast-paced branch environment in Elmwood Park, NJ
