Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect, develop, and maintain a robust pipeline of home lending clients through networking, referrals, and community events in Eugene, OR
  • Conduct comprehensive financial consultations to assess client needs and recommend tailored mortgage solutions from JP Morgan Chase's portfolio
  • Guide clients through the entire home financing process, from pre-approval to closing, ensuring a seamless and compliant experience
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including underwriters and processors, to expedite loan approvals and resolve any issues efficiently
  • Achieve and exceed individual and branch sales goals for mortgage originations while upholding JP Morgan Chase's commitment to ethical lending practices

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in mortgage lending, home financing, or financial sales within the banking industry
  • Active Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) license in Oregon, with ability to obtain licenses in additional states as needed
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets in home lending or consumer banking products
  • In-depth knowledge of mortgage products, regulations, and compliance standards such as TILA, RESPA, and HMDA
  • Strong understanding of credit analysis, underwriting processes, and financial documentation requirements
