Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect, develop, and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads for home lending products, including mortgages, refinances, and home equity loans
  • Conduct comprehensive client consultations to assess financial needs and recommend tailored JP Morgan Chase home lending solutions
  • Guide clients through the entire loan origination process, from application to closing, ensuring a seamless and first-class experience
  • Collaborate with internal partners such as underwriters, processors, and branch teams to expedite loan approvals and resolve issues
  • Drive sales performance by meeting or exceeding monthly and quarterly targets for loan volume and revenue
  • Stay abreast of market trends, interest rates, and regulatory changes to provide expert advice on optimal lending opportunities
  • Build and nurture long-term client relationships to generate referrals and repeat business within the Glenview community
  • Ensure all lending activities comply with federal and state regulations, including Truth in Lending Act (TILA) and RESPA
  • Utilize JP Morgan Chase's technology tools to track applications, analyze credit profiles, and prepare loan documentation

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in mortgage lending, sales, or financial services origination
  • Active Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) license in Illinois, with ability to obtain additional state licenses as needed
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets in home lending or consumer banking
  • Strong understanding of mortgage products, regulations, and compliance requirements in the financial services industry
  • Excellent credit history and ability to pass JP Morgan Chase's background check and fingerprinting requirements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced certifications such as Certified Mortgage Banker (CMB) or equivalent
  • Experience working in a high-volume branch environment within a major financial institution
