Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect and develop new client relationships through networking, referrals, and community events in the Houston area
  • Guide clients through the home lending process, from initial consultation to loan closing, ensuring a seamless experience
  • Analyze client financial profiles to recommend tailored mortgage products, including conventional, FHA, VA, and jumbo loans
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets by originating high-quality loans while maintaining compliance with federal and state regulations
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including underwriters and processors, to expedite loan approvals and resolve issues
  • Educate clients on mortgage options, interest rates, and market trends to build trust and drive business growth
  • Maintain accurate records in JP Morgan Chase's CRM systems and adhere to all lending policies
  • Participate in ongoing training to stay updated on industry changes and JP Morgan's product offerings
  • Contribute to branch goals by supporting team initiatives and fostering a client-centric culture

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in mortgage lending, sales, or financial services
  • Active Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) license in Texas, with NMLS registration
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets in home lending or similar roles
  • Strong understanding of mortgage products, regulations, and compliance requirements
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with diverse clients
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, target-driven environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced certifications such as Certified Mortgage Banker (CMB) or equivalent
  • Experience with high-net-worth clients or luxury home lending in the Houston market
