Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect and cultivate relationships with potential homebuyers, real estate agents, and referral partners in the Houston Meyerland area to generate mortgage leads
  • Conduct comprehensive financial assessments to recommend tailored home lending solutions, including conventional, FHA, VA, and jumbo loans
  • Guide clients through the entire mortgage origination process, from application to closing, ensuring a seamless and compliant experience
  • Collaborate with JP Morgan Chase underwriting and processing teams to expedite approvals and resolve any issues efficiently
  • Achieve and exceed individual sales goals while contributing to branch-wide home lending targets
  • Stay abreast of market trends, interest rates, and regulatory changes to provide expert advice on optimal financing strategies

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in mortgage lending or home financing within the financial services industry
  • Active Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) license with NMLS registration
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets in a competitive lending environment
  • In-depth knowledge of federal and state lending regulations, including HMDA and RESPA
  • Strong understanding of credit analysis, underwriting processes, and risk assessment in home lending
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, client-focused setting
