Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect and cultivate relationships with potential homebuyers, real estate agents, and referral partners in the Houston Montrose area
  • Conduct comprehensive financial assessments to recommend suitable mortgage products from JP Morgan Chase's portfolio
  • Guide clients through the entire home lending process, from application to closing, ensuring a seamless and compliant experience
  • Achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets for loan originations and volume
  • Collaborate with internal underwriting and processing teams to resolve issues and expedite approvals
  • Stay abreast of market trends, interest rates, and regulatory changes to provide expert advice

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in mortgage lending or home financing origination
  • Active Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) license with NMLS registration
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets in a competitive financial services environment
  • In-depth knowledge of federal and state lending regulations, including TRID and HMDA
