Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect and develop new client relationships through community networking, referrals, and branch partnerships in the Huntsville, AL area
  • Guide clients through the home lending process, from initial consultation to loan closing, ensuring a seamless and personalized experience
  • Analyze client financial profiles to recommend suitable mortgage products, including conventional, FHA, VA, and jumbo loans
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including underwriters and processors, to expedite loan approvals and resolve issues efficiently
  • Drive sales performance by meeting or exceeding monthly origination targets and contributing to branch revenue goals
  • Educate clients on mortgage options, interest rates, and financing strategies to support informed decision-making
  • Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements and JP Morgan Chase's internal policies during the lending process
  • Leverage digital tools and CRM systems to track leads, manage pipelines, and report on sales activities
  • Participate in local events and seminars to promote JP Morgan Chase's home lending services in the Enterprise Way Branch

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in mortgage lending or home financing within the financial services industry
  • Active Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) license in Alabama or ability to obtain one promptly
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets in residential mortgage origination
  • In-depth knowledge of federal and state lending regulations, including HMDA and RESPA
  • Strong understanding of credit analysis, underwriting processes, and loan structuring
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse clients

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced certifications such as Certified Mortgage Banker (CMB) or equivalent
  • Experience working in a high-volume branch environment at a major financial institution
  • Familiarity with JP Morgan Chase's proprietary lending platforms and tools
