Key Responsibilities

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in mortgage lending, home equity, or consumer lending within the financial services industry
  • Active Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) license with NMLS registration, or ability to obtain within 90 days
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets in a competitive lending environment
  • Strong understanding of federal and state lending regulations, including TRID, RESPA, and fair lending practices
  • Excellent credit history and ability to pass a comprehensive background check
  • Proficiency in mortgage origination software and CRM systems used in financial institutions

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced certifications such as Certified Mortgage Banker (CMB) or equivalent
  • Experience working with high-net-worth clients or in a branch-based lending role at a major bank
