Key Responsibilities

  • Originate and process mortgage applications, ensuring compliance with JP Morgan Chase's underwriting standards
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of potential borrowers through networking, referrals, and community events in Lakeland, FL
  • Collaborate with branch teams, including bankers and wealth advisors, to identify cross-selling opportunities for JP Morgan Chase products
  • Conduct financial analyses to recommend suitable loan products, such as conventional, FHA, VA, or jumbo mortgages

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in mortgage lending or home financing within the financial services industry
  • Active Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) license with NMLS registration
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets in residential mortgage origination
  • In-depth knowledge of federal and state lending regulations, including Truth in Lending Act (TILA) and RESPA
  • Strong understanding of credit analysis, underwriting processes, and loan structuring
