Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect and develop new client relationships through community events, referrals, and branch partnerships in the Las Vegas area
  • Guide clients through the home lending process, from initial consultation to loan closing, ensuring a seamless and personalized experience
  • Analyze client financial profiles to recommend suitable mortgage products, including conventional, FHA, VA, and jumbo loans
  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as underwriters and processors, to expedite loan approvals and resolve issues efficiently
  • Meet or exceed monthly sales goals by leveraging JP Morgan Chase's competitive products and market expertise
  • Educate clients on lending options, interest rates, and affordability to build trust and drive home ownership decisions
  • Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements and JP Morgan Chase's internal policies during the origination process
  • Monitor market trends in the Las Vegas housing sector to provide timely advice and identify business opportunities
  • Document all client interactions and loan activities accurately in CRM systems for audit and reporting purposes
  • Mentor junior advisors and contribute to team sales strategies to support branch performance

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in mortgage lending, home equity, or consumer lending within the financial services industry
  • Active Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) license in Nevada, with ability to obtain licenses in additional states as needed
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets in a competitive lending environment
  • Strong understanding of federal and state lending regulations, including TRID, HMDA, and RESPA
  • Excellent credit history and ability to pass a comprehensive background check
  • Proficiency in using financial software and CRM systems for loan processing

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced certifications such as Certified Mortgage Banker (CMB) or equivalent
  • Experience working with high-net-worth clients or in a branch-based lending role at a major bank
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish or another language spoken in the Las Vegas community
