Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect, qualify, and develop relationships with potential homebuyers, real estate agents, and referral partners in the Lexington area
  • Guide clients through the entire home lending process, from initial consultation to loan closing, ensuring a seamless and personalized experience
  • Analyze client financial profiles to recommend suitable mortgage products, including conventional, FHA, VA, and jumbo loans
  • Collaborate with underwriters, processors, and internal teams at JP Morgan Chase to expedite loan approvals and resolve issues
  • Drive sales performance by meeting or exceeding monthly origination targets and contributing to branch goals
  • Stay current on market trends, interest rates, and regulatory changes to provide expert advice
  • Conduct educational seminars or workshops on home financing to build community presence and generate leads
  • Ensure all lending activities comply with federal and state regulations, maintaining high ethical standards

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in mortgage lending, home financing, or related financial services roles
  • Active Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) license in Kentucky, with NMLS registration
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets in a competitive lending environment
  • In-depth knowledge of mortgage products, regulations, and compliance standards such as TILA and RESPA
  • Strong understanding of credit analysis, underwriting processes, and risk assessment in home lending
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, client-focused setting
