Key Responsibilities

• Prospect and develop new client relationships through community networking, referrals, and digital channels in the Lorain area
• Guide clients through the home lending process, from initial consultation to loan closing, ensuring a seamless experience
• Analyze client financial profiles to recommend tailored mortgage solutions, including conventional, FHA, VA, and jumbo loans
• Meet or exceed monthly sales goals by originating high-quality loans while adhering to JP Morgan Chase's risk and compliance standards
• Collaborate with internal teams, including underwriters and processors, to expedite loan approvals and resolve issues
• Educate clients on mortgage options, interest rates, and market trends to build trust and drive satisfaction
• Maintain accurate records in CRM systems and ensure all documentation complies with federal and state regulations
• Participate in local events and partnerships to enhance JP Morgan Chase's brand presence in Lorain, OH
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to team sales strategies

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in mortgage lending, sales, or financial services
• Active Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) license with NMLS registration
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets in home lending or related roles
• Strong understanding of mortgage products, regulations, and compliance requirements
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with diverse clients
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, target-driven environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced certifications such as Certified Mortgage Banker (CMB) or equivalent
