Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect and develop new client relationships through networking, referrals, and community events in Midland, TX
  • Guide clients through the home lending process, from initial consultation to loan closing, ensuring a seamless experience
  • Analyze client financial profiles to recommend suitable mortgage products, including conventional, FHA, VA, and jumbo loans
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including underwriters and processors, to expedite loan approvals
  • Meet or exceed monthly sales goals while maintaining high-quality loan origination standards
  • Stay updated on market trends, interest rates, and regulatory changes affecting home lending
  • Provide expert advice on refinancing options and home equity products to existing clients

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in mortgage lending or home financing origination
  • Active Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) license in Texas or ability to obtain one promptly
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets in financial services
  • In-depth knowledge of federal and state lending regulations, including TRID and HMDA
  • Strong understanding of credit analysis and risk assessment in residential mortgages
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, client-focused environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced certifications such as Certified Mortgage Banker (CMB) or equivalent
