Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect, qualify, and develop new client relationships to originate residential mortgage loans across multiple branches in Los Angeles County
  • Guide clients through the home lending process, from initial consultation to closing, ensuring a seamless and personalized experience
  • Analyze client financial profiles to recommend appropriate JP Morgan Chase loan products, including conventional, FHA, VA, and jumbo mortgages
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including underwriters and processors, to ensure timely loan approvals and compliance with regulatory standards
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets by leveraging networking events, referrals, and digital marketing strategies
  • Provide expert advice on market trends, interest rates, and financing options to empower clients in their homeownership journey
  • Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to JP Morgan Chase's risk management and ethical lending practices

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in mortgage lending or home financing within the financial services industry
  • Active Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) license with NMLS registration
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets in residential mortgage origination
  • In-depth knowledge of federal and state lending regulations, including TRID and HMDA
  • Strong understanding of credit analysis, underwriting processes, and loan programs offered by JP Morgan Chase
  • Ability to work in multiple branches across Los Angeles County, CA
