Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect and develop new client relationships through community networking, referrals, and branch partnerships in Murrieta, CA
  • Guide clients through the home lending process, from initial consultation to loan closing, ensuring a seamless and personalized experience
  • Analyze client financial profiles to recommend suitable mortgage products, including conventional, FHA, VA, and jumbo loans
  • Achieve and exceed monthly sales goals by leveraging JP Morgan Chase's market-leading products and resources
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including underwriters and processors, to ensure timely loan approvals and funding
  • Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements and JP Morgan Chase's ethical lending standards

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in mortgage lending, home equity, or consumer lending within the financial services industry
  • Active Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) license with NMLS registration
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets in a competitive lending environment
  • Strong understanding of federal and state lending regulations, including TRID and HMDA compliance
  • Experience using CRM systems and mortgage origination software such as Encompass
  • Ability to work independently in a branch-based setting with flexible hours

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced certifications such as Certified Mortgage Banker (CMB) or equivalent
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish or other local languages spoken in Murrieta, CA
  • Experience in high-volume retail banking environments at a major financial institution
