Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect and develop new client relationships through branch referrals, community networking, and digital leads to originate home loans
  • Guide clients through the entire home lending process, from initial consultation to closing, ensuring a seamless and personalized experience
  • Analyze client financial profiles to recommend suitable mortgage products, including conventional, FHA, VA, and jumbo loans
  • Collaborate with branch teams and internal partners at JP Morgan Chase to deliver integrated banking solutions
  • Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements and JP Morgan Chase policies in loan origination activities
  • Achieve or exceed monthly sales goals for loan volume and revenue while minimizing default risks
  • Educate clients on home financing options, market trends, and the benefits of JP Morgan Chase's lending services
  • Utilize CRM tools to track leads, manage pipelines, and report on sales performance metrics
  • Participate in local community events in East Nashville to build brand awareness and generate referrals

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in mortgage lending, home equity, or consumer lending within the financial services industry
  • Active Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) license with NMLS registration, or ability to obtain within 90 days
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets in a competitive lending environment
  • Strong understanding of federal and state lending regulations, including TRID, RESPA, and HMDA
  • Excellent credit history and ability to pass a comprehensive background check
  • Proficiency in mortgage origination software and CRM systems used in banking

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced certifications such as Certified Mortgage Banker (CMB) or equivalent
