Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect, develop, and maintain a pipeline of qualified mortgage leads through networking, referrals, and community events in the New Braunfels area
  • Conduct comprehensive financial assessments for clients to recommend suitable home lending products, including conventional, FHA, VA, and jumbo loans
  • Guide clients through the entire mortgage origination process, from application to closing, ensuring a seamless and compliant experience
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including underwriters and processors, to expedite loan approvals and resolve issues efficiently
  • Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets for loan originations while adhering to JP Morgan Chase's risk and compliance standards
  • Build and nurture long-term client relationships to generate repeat business and referrals within the Walnut branch community
  • Stay updated on market trends, interest rates, and lending policies to provide expert advice tailored to client needs

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in mortgage lending, home financing, or related financial services sales
  • Active Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) license with NMLS registration, or ability to obtain within 120 days of hire
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets in a competitive financial services environment
  • Strong understanding of federal and state lending regulations, including Truth in Lending Act (TILA) and RESPA
  • Excellent credit history and ability to pass background checks required for financial industry roles
  • Proficiency in mortgage origination software and CRM systems used in banking

Preferred Qualifications
