Key Responsibilities

• Engage with prospective homebuyers to assess financial needs and recommend tailored mortgage solutions from JP Morgan Chase's portfolio
• Conduct comprehensive financial consultations, including credit analysis and affordability assessments, to guide clients through the homeownership process
• Originate and process mortgage applications, ensuring all documentation complies with federal and state regulations
• Build and maintain a robust pipeline of leads through networking, referrals, and community events in Staten Island
• Collaborate with branch teams, underwriters, and processors to expedite loan approvals and closings
• Achieve or exceed monthly sales targets for mortgage originations while delivering exceptional customer service
• Educate clients on JP Morgan Chase's home lending products, including fixed-rate, adjustable-rate, and FHA/VA loans
• Monitor market trends and regulatory changes to provide up-to-date advice and mitigate risks
• Participate in branch initiatives to promote home lending services and support overall branch goals
• Maintain accurate records in JP Morgan Chase's lending systems and ensure adherence to ethical sales practices

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in mortgage lending, home financing, or financial sales within the banking industry
• Active Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) license with NMLS registration
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets in home lending or consumer banking
• In-depth knowledge of mortgage products, regulations, and compliance requirements such as TILA and RESPA
• Strong understanding of the New York real estate market and local lending practices
• Ability to work independently in a branch environment while collaborating with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced certifications such as Certified Mortgage Banker (CMB) or equivalent
• Experience working in a high-volume branch like JP Morgan Chase's Bay Parkway location
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish to serve diverse Staten Island clientele
• Previous leadership experience mentoring junior lending advisors
• Familiarity with digital lending platforms and CRM tools used at JP Morgan Chase
