Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect, develop, and maintain a pipeline of potential home lending clients through branch referrals, community outreach, and networking in the Chinatown area
  • Conduct comprehensive needs assessments to recommend tailored mortgage products, including fixed-rate, adjustable-rate, and jumbo loans from JP Morgan Chase
  • Guide clients through the entire home lending process, from pre-approval to closing, ensuring a seamless and compliant experience
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including underwriters and processors, to expedite loan approvals and resolve any issues efficiently
  • Achieve and exceed individual and branch sales goals for loan originations while adhering to all regulatory standards
  • Build and nurture long-term client relationships to generate repeat business and referrals within the New York market

Required Qualifications

  • Active Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) license with NMLS registration
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets in a competitive banking environment
  • In-depth knowledge of federal and state lending regulations, including FHA, VA, and conventional loan programs
  • Strong understanding of credit analysis, underwriting processes, and risk assessment in home lending
  • Ability to work in a branch-based setting in New York, NY, with flexibility for client meetings
