Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect and develop new client relationships through community outreach, referrals, and branch networking in South Nassau County locations
  • Conduct comprehensive financial consultations to assess client needs and recommend tailored home lending solutions from JP Morgan Chase's portfolio
  • Originate and process mortgage applications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including underwriters and processors, to expedite loan approvals and closings
  • Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the home buying journey, from pre-approval to post-closing support
  • Achieve and exceed individual and team sales goals for mortgage volume and revenue
  • Stay updated on market trends, interest rates, and JP Morgan Chase product enhancements to provide expert advice
  • Mentor junior advisors and contribute to branch training initiatives on lending best practices
  • Maintain detailed records of client interactions and loan pipelines using CRM systems

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in mortgage lending or home financing within the financial services industry
  • Active Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) license with NMLS registration
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets in residential mortgage origination
  • In-depth knowledge of federal and state lending regulations, including TRID and HMDA compliance
  • Experience working in branch-based retail banking environments
  • Strong understanding of credit analysis and risk assessment for home loans

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced certifications such as Certified Mortgage Banker (CMB) or equivalent
