Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect and develop new client relationships through networking, referrals, and community events in the New York area
  • Guide clients through the home lending process, from initial consultation to loan closing, ensuring a seamless experience
  • Analyze client financial profiles to recommend tailored mortgage products, including conventional, FHA, VA, and jumbo loans
  • Collaborate with JP Morgan Chase underwriting and processing teams to expedite loan approvals
  • Achieve and exceed monthly sales goals while maintaining high customer satisfaction ratings
  • Stay updated on lending regulations and market conditions to provide accurate advice
  • Build partnerships with local real estate professionals to generate leads for the Water Street Branch

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in mortgage lending or home financing within the financial services industry
  • Active Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) license in New York State
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets in a competitive lending environment
  • In-depth knowledge of mortgage products, regulations, and compliance standards such as TILA and RESPA
  • Strong understanding of the New York real estate market and home buying trends
