Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect and develop new client relationships through community networking, referrals, and branch partnerships in the San Antonio Bandera area
  • Guide clients through the home lending process, from initial consultation to loan closing, ensuring a seamless and personalized experience
  • Analyze client financial profiles to recommend suitable mortgage products, including conventional, FHA, VA, and jumbo loans
  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as underwriters and processors, to expedite loan approvals and resolve issues efficiently
  • Achieve and exceed monthly sales goals by leveraging JP Morgan Chase's market-leading products and resources
  • Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies while documenting client interactions accurately
  • Educate clients on home financing options, market trends, and financial planning to build long-term trust
  • Participate in local events and initiatives to enhance JP Morgan Chase's community presence in San Antonio
  • Monitor loan pipelines and follow up on leads to ensure high conversion rates
  • Provide ongoing support to clients post-closing to foster repeat business and referrals

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in mortgage lending or home financing origination
  • Active Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) license in Texas and NMLS registration
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets in a competitive financial services environment
  • Strong understanding of federal and state lending regulations, including TRID and HMDA
  • Experience using CRM systems and mortgage origination software
  • Ability to work independently in a branch-based setting

  • Advanced certifications such as Certified Mortgage Banker (CMB)
