Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect and develop new client relationships through networking, referrals, and community events in San Antonio
  • Guide clients through the home lending process, from initial consultation to loan closing, ensuring a seamless experience
  • Analyze client financial situations to recommend appropriate mortgage products, including conventional, FHA, and VA loans
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets by delivering exceptional service and building long-term client loyalty
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including underwriters and processors, to ensure timely loan approvals
  • Stay updated on market trends, interest rates, and regulatory changes affecting home lending
  • Conduct educational seminars and workshops on home ownership for potential clients in the De Zavala area
  • Maintain accurate records in JP Morgan Chase's lending systems and ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations
  • Provide ongoing support to clients post-closing to foster repeat business and referrals
  • Contribute to branch goals by mentoring junior advisors and participating in team initiatives

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in mortgage lending, home financing, or financial sales
  • Active Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) license with NMLS registration
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets in a competitive financial services environment
  • Strong understanding of mortgage products, regulations, and compliance requirements such as TILA and RESPA
  • Excellent credit history and ability to pass background checks required for financial roles
  • Willingness to work in the San Antonio, TX location at the De Zavala branch

Preferred Qualifications
